Packaging issues
Bought an item to gift someone from UK GOOD DEALS/GHOST BIKES.COM during Christmas, the packaging was awful and customer service wasn't great.
Contacted customer service, they said if they do better packaging then the item price would have gone up.

Terrible Avoid at all costs
Bought a helmet from this company After a couple of weeks the internal sun visor kept coming down mid-ride and the latch was very loose. Sent it back to them and they say I have had a crash in it so wasn't getting any help from them. Absolutely crap customer service and goods are sub standard to say the least
Exchange of goods, my error
I bought a motocross outfit for my grand daughter, got the size drastically wrong, contacted Ghostbikes by email, they explained the return/exchange system in easy to understand terms. I explained I needed the correct size very quickly. The customer service team went above and beyond to ensure I received it within two days. I cannot recommend them enough

Where to start. Ordered a helmet it was apparently delivered by yodel. When I got home there was nothing there so I contacted ghost bikes and was met with rude obnoxious responses. Blaming me for not being home for a delivery I didn't expect on a Saturday where no one was home. The courier lied and said they delivered to my partner who wasn't even in the country. Then instead of sorting it the issue was my postcode which had no relevance because my address was correct. Telling me I couldn't get a refund because of a postcode even though my address location was confirmed. They claimed the money back through yodel and didn't tell me. I had to get proof off yodel and take it to PayPal as ghostbikes didn't even respond only to say no refund. PayPal refunded it after seeing the evidence and informed them this company acts in bad faith. They would of been paid for the same item twice well I got nothing if I didn't contact the courier. Awful service. Bad faith

Great shop staff
This shop is local to me and visited them recently for a new helmet for me and pair of 'summer' bike boots for hubby. The staff in store were very helpful at that time. Unfortunately the bike boots stitching started coming away after being used twice. Back to shop for exchange but had no others in stock so back to trying on several pairs. The lady was very helpful as he tried on many pairs. Eventually chose a new pair and now all is sorted - hopefully
Quick delivery but....
I’ve ordered two jackets from ghostbikes and although the price was satisfactory and the deliveries arrived in good time, the condition of the items left a lot to be desired. The main reason for this was the substandard packaging. The Spada jacket I ordered a few months ago arrived rolled up in what could best be described as some sort of bin bag or possibly even a plastic sheet that was once used to house human excrement gathered from a Siberian gulag. As a result the jacket was marked in places and creased. Nonetheless, I decided to give Ghostbikes another try and bought a Revit jacket. This time, the jacket was delivered in a large cardboard box. The jacket was not shaped in a coat hanger or protected by bubble wrap. In fact, there was no additional filling in the large box at all. The jacket seemed to be simply thrown into the box with gay abandon, crumpled up and destined to rub against itself and the sides of the box during the turbulent journey towards its new master. Again, as a result of this, the jacket was creased and marked. Why do this? Why such carelessness? Do you hate the items you sell so much? You’ve taken good money for the item so why not treat it and the customer with respect. I’m glad UK Good Deals Ltd don’t run a funeral service. Otherwise bodies would wrapped in shopping bags from Aldi and rather than buried or cremated, be placed in a seated position on the number 8 bus in Birmingham, damned to travel the inner circle for eternity.

Shocking company AVOID!
mrs bought me R1 indicators for xmas with a load of other stuff from other places, we phoned and my mrs was told it was for that make and model. unfortunately due to covid the garage i use and have an account with was closed due to ill health so only just opened, mechanic went to fit and they are not for an R1, contacted them and terrible customer service basically said not interested and they never said they fit an r1. w.t.f would we order them if they dont fit an r1 ? shocking company avoid with your life.
when i said i will take it further they just ignored !

Top bike store
First went to J and S in Preston but did not enjoy experience, far too cautious with customers in present climate and it spoilt buying experience. Then went to Ghost Bikes and was much better experience. So welcoming and customer service was excellent. Should have come here from the start. Will certainly return

Always had good dealings with Ghost bikes me and my ride mates all buy diffrent items for them staff are brilliant helpfull and knowledge is great . Never had any issues with helmets or boots . Brilliant customer service 5* from them . Bought 2 helmets today me and my mate as spares good deals try and buy which u like ..?????

Let down
Let down. Have used the company a lot over the years. But I'm not happy as I bought boots in my size but they couldn't be zipped up due to a fault. Also found another review saying the same thing on their own website about those boots. Was refunded but not the postage. So lost 6 pounds and its on them that the boots were faulty.

Having used ghostbikes quite a lot over the last few years Bought a pair of their own brand Enigma moto x boots July 2019, used them about ten times and found them to have failed in mid august , split on both boots, bearing in mind i didn't use them at all all of lockdown, i emailed them to see if they would do anything as it was 13 months after the sale date, they didn't want to replace them and i was told in reply "
After inspecting these boots we can see the fault that you mentioned. However, in your own words you have said that you used the boots for Green laning. These boots are not designed for that, the intended use is for Motorsports where your foot would remain in a rigid position and not move very much. As such we would not be able to offer you a refund or a replacement. As a goodwill gesture, we would be able to offer you a credit on this order for you to order another pair of boots from our website. We recommend you buy either Adventure or Trial boots. Please contact us if you find a pair that you like and we can sort the new order for you." i replied and asked them why they had no confidence in their own brand of moto x boots and got told in no uncertain terms that their own brand of moto x boots are not suitable for green laning unlike other brands of moto x boots here's the reply ....." We did not offer you a pair of replacement boots, as previously stated these boots are not designed for green laning. We understand that you have experience with using boots for this activity but we know the specification and purpose these boots have been built to. These boots are designed to be rigid so that when you use them during Motorcross sports your foot will remain in the same position to protect it. If we gave you a replacement pair we could not guarantee that this would not happen again. Similarly, if you used your credit to buy a replacement pair of the Enigma boots and they were damaged in the same way again, we would not be able to accept these boots back as they have been misused ".... fair play to Ghostbikes they did give a full credit as a gesture of goodwill but given as a credit note and not an actual refund which i ended up spending on other goods which i didn't particularly want at that time, overall tho i was very encouraged by the credit note especially after the overall time involved with the failure some firms might easily have said sorry no they're over twelve months old etc, four stars , it would have been 5 stars apart from the terrible quality of the materials in the boots and slightly sketchy customer care replies ...... in the end a good result from an awkward situation.

Having a nightmare with this company
Having a nightmare with this company. Bought a helmet from Ghostbikes - visor fell off. Contacted them and said return the helmet but if i want a replacement order a new one and ask for a refund, which i did. Now saying they will return old helmet! i don't need two. Legal battle now

Great customer service and products
Bought items online and then visited the store in Preston which is awesome. Customer service in store was brilliant and some amazing deals. Well worth a visit.
